About the Release

This release contains the following new features and improvements.

👍 New Features

WebAPI2.0 => Enhanced API for Mobility

We have updated our WebAPI 2.0 mobility interface to support enhanced housekeeping management features. You can access room details, summaries, maid assignments, discrepancies, and guest information easily. This upgrade also includes advanced task management tools for tracking tasks, downloading company policies, and viewing or executing reports efficiently.

PMS => Reports => Tourism Dirham Report

We’ve introduced a new “Tourism Dirham Report” under Country Reports to assist our Dubai customers in meeting Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing requirements. The report shows the total nights stayed and the corresponding charges for each room within a selected date range.

Login => Dual Authentication with Google Authenticator

We’ve added Google Authentication for two-step verification to make mycloud PMS more secure. This extra layer of protection helps safeguard user accounts by requiring a second step of verification when signing in. It enhances the overall security of mycloud PMS and protects server users from unauthorized access.

PMS => Front Desk => Auto Refresh Option

We’ve added an auto-refresh feature to the reservation screen. This means our users will now have updated data all the time. This works by automatically refreshing the screen at set time intervals to display the latest data.

🚀 Improvements

Interface => Club++
The Club++ interface is improved to handle all the payment transfers from mycloud PMS more efficiently. Payments will not impact the member ledger until the guest checks out. Until then, all payments are transferred to Club++ and logged as dual entries under the default member ID.

PMS => History Maintenance
The History Search and History Details pop-up windows have been updated to display the “Blacklisted Guest” flag in red.

PMS => Reports

  • Booked Thru Report: You can now export the “Booked Thru” report in Excel format. This makes it easy to download the data and use it for analysis.
  • Discrepancy Report: We have added a new filter option in discrepancy report that lets you choose to view all rooms or only the ones with discrepancies.
  • User Activity Report: The report has been updated to include the login and logout dates and times for users, making it easier to track user activity.
  • MIS Productivity Report: MIS Productivity and MIS Stats reports now include an option to customize room night calculations. You can choose whether to include or exclude complimentary and house-use.
  • Inclusion History and Forecast Report: To ensure accurate PAX counts during charge transfers, the Inclusion History and Forecast reports have been updated to use the “quantity” column from the guest ledger to calculate PAX counts for meal plans. This modification guarantees correct PAX calculations even when charges are transferred between accounts.

PMS => Cashiering

  • Mouse Hover to Display Cashier Name in Cashiering Screen: The Cashiering screen has been updated to display the cashier name when hovering over the cashier field, which was previously showing the ID.
  • Retention invoice: The GST invoice has been modified to include detailed information about day-wise cancellation charges if the “day-wise cancellation calculation” option is enabled for the property.
  • Separate User Access for Reversal/Allowance Operations: Separate user access controls have been introduced for “Revenue Correction” and “Payment Refund” actions on the cashiering screen..
  • Reprint Indication on Checks: The check format in mycloud POS has been modified to display the word “Reprint” at the top of the check if it has been reprinted.

PMS => GST Invoices

  • Edit GST Header Information on Invoice and Reports: The GST invoice has been updated to display details modified through the “Edit Header” option on the GST invoice screen. All common data available for editing (e.g., GSTIN, client name) will now appear in the GST invoice view and print.
  • Default Address on GST Invoice and Reports: The GST invoice has been enhanced to display the guest’s default address. GST reports have been updated to show the revised GSTIN number and client name based on edits made in the “Edit Header” section.

PMS => Group

  • Re-instate Cancelled/No-Show Bookings: When reinstating a cancelled or no-show group booking, the original confirmation number will now be retained, preventing the creation of multiple confirmation numbers.

PMS => Booked thru

  • A separate user access control has been added to mark contracts as “Contracted/Signed.” If this access is not enabled, the “Contracted” button will remain disabled.

PMS => Night Audit

  • Generate Missed GST Invoices after MIS Update: The Night Audit MIS update step has been modified to automatically generate missing GST invoices for check-outs processed on the current date to help our users to nor miss any GST invoice.

PMS => Reservation

  • Reservation confirmation letters now display individual room types, rates, and meal plans for group bookings, instead of just one meal plan and an average rate, this help hotel users to avoid confusion.

Web Booking Engine => Performance Enhancements

  • The “Flexible Dates” section has been removed from both screens of the Web Booking Engine to reduce confusion, and taxes will no longer be calculated on these screens to improve performance.

PMS => Rate Management

  • Rate Management Changes: Rates are now saved on a date-by-date basis rather than a date range, ensuring better accuracy in rate management.
