What is contactless check-in

Hotels can now send a pre-check-in mail to the guests, this mail will have a URL or QR code, so guest can click on it and proceed with Pre check-in formalities.

Does a guest need an app?

No, guest can simply click on the URL or scan QR code and they can complete all pre-check-in formalities on the phone browser without downloading anything

What formalities will pre-check-in include?

Guest can verify reservation details, upload picture and ids, provide all mandatory information that hotel needs for registration card, read all terms and digitally sign the document.

Can a guest make payment?

Yes, based on booking policy system will auto alert guest and ask them to make payment

What payment modes can be used?

Guests can use all standard payment modes like a credit card, debit card, wallets, NEFT.

Is QR eMenu interfaced with any POS?

QR eMenu is an independent application and is not interfaced with any POS System.

What about the guest bill during the stay?

The contactless URL is valid from guest reservation through guest stay, till guest checks out, during stay guest can view charges for other services and facilities used, folios and also make payments.

Can a Customer Order from QR Menu?

Yes, customers can not only view the available items but do the payment also on QR Menu.

What is the Hardware Requirement?

QR Menu is a cloud-based application. Hotel/Restaurant doesn’t need to invest in Hardware Infrastructure. They Guest or Customer should have Internet access to use QR Menu.

Is QR eMenu hosted in safe environment?

Can Promotions be displayed on QR eMenu?

Can Hotels get health declaration on contactless check-in?

Yes, this declaration is inbuilt in pre-check-in and guest will need to accept and acknowledge the declaration

Can a guest do a contactless checkout?

Yes, guest can use the same link or system can send a link 24 hrs prior to departure, this link can be used by the guest to view his stay details, bills and make payment for dues and complete checkout process.

How are the documents and signature secured that are collected during contactless check-in?

The signature and documented are watermarked so it cannot be misused and only authorized people have access to it.
