About the Release

This release contains the following new feature and improvements.
👍 New Features
PMS => Reports => Country Specific Reports
A new country-specific KSA report has been added to support compliance requirements, providing a clear view of MVAT and MTAX data. This helps hotels ensure accurate tax reporting, reduce manual effort, and maintain regulatory readiness with ease.
🚀 Improvements
We’ve improved several operational and financial reports to make them easier to read and more actionable:
1.1 API Enhancement – Reservation Comments
The searchbookings API has been enhanced to return reservation comments. A new property, comments, is now available—making integrations richer and giving systems better contextual booking data.
1.2 Task Alerts Made Actionable
When a task is linked to a reservation, users with the right access can now open the booking directly from the alert screen, enabling faster action and smoother workflows.
1.3 Clearer Non-Room Account Identification
The Non-Room Accounts screen now displays a “Not to be used” indicator, helping teams avoid accidental or incorrect usage.
1.4 Improved House Position Accuracy
The Expected Departure count has been updated to include Day-Use guests for confirmed and in-house reservations—providing a more accurate operational view.
1.5 Enhanced Room Rate Variance Report
The report now includes Booked Through details and a Discount % column, giving better visibility into pricing variations and booking sources.
1.6 Reservation & Guest Screen Improvements
Booking comments from Booked Through channels now sync automatically to the guest screen
Check-in and check-out times are now visible, improving front-desk clarity and audit readiness
1.7 Settlement Report Upgrades
The Settlement and Archive Settlement Reports now offer:
- Filters by Source
- Options to display comments, notes, and billing instructions
- Visibility of external reference numbers for better reconciliation
1.8 Cash Summary & Transaction Register Filters
Both reports now support Source-based filters—view transactions by All / PMS / POS for clearer financial analysis.
1.9 Airport Transfer Report Enhancement
The report output now includes Booked Through information, making transfer coordination and tracking easier.
1.10 Archive Reservation Inquiry – Log Visibility
The Archive Reservation Inquiry screen now displays log information for bookings created from this release onwards, improving traceability and audit support.
1.11 STAAH Interface Update (Agoda Bookings)
STAAH now sends a resell amount for Agoda bookings. When “Include commission to agreed rate” is enabled in STAAH configuration, this value is treated as the Agreed Rate, ensuring accurate rate handling.
1.12 Group Folio Instructions Optimization
Group folio instructions have been optimized for better clarity and smoother processing.
1.13 Smarter Report Scheduler Logic
Scheduled reports will not be sent if a property’s business date is more than two days behind the system date, helping prevent inaccurate or outdated reporting.
