What do we do to ensure the security of data of our hotel clients?
Our system follows PCI-compliance-ready security and also has user management security built in. Apart from user management, access to the hosted server is limited and the password policy to access the servers is maintained. Also, the application follows GDPR compliance-ready security for the data. Data back-ups are at 4-hour intervals and since the server is hosted on a cloud solution, enough security has been taken care by the Server provider for backup of machines other than our own backup mechanism.
What preventive measures have we taken against cyber-crime?
We provide access based on the IP address registered for users. Only those users with that specific IP address can access the system. Other than this firewalls, anti-spam, and anti-virus have been configured for any intrusion catch and alert. We have tested our Hotel Property Management software against OWASP top 10 vulnerability assessment and have taken care of any vulnerability in our application.
